Does Clean and Clear clean your face better than Neutrogena ?
I've always been insecure when it came to the acne on my face and over the years I have been using these products but one costs way more than the other which I never understood. If these two products contained the same chemicals and had the same end goal why should you have to buy a more expensive brand when the cheaper brand will do the job just as well. It’s time to save money and make your face feel happy and free at the same time. Is Neutrogena actually making a difference for my face? To put its claim to the test, I conducted an experiment to see if it really moisturizes and gets rid of oils better than its competitor.
Procedure:
1.Wash your hands make sure they are clean.
2.Apply the Clean & Clear onto the face
3.Let the Clean & Clear sit on your face for 5 minutes
4.Then rinse off the Clean & Clear with water.
5.Tap face with a towel until face is dry.
6.See results as days go past
7.Repeat steps 1-5 for Neutrogena

Lauric Acid:
Lauric acid is a powerful substance that is in fact extracted from a coconut and it helps kill all of the bacteria and or viruses we face today. This chemical makes up about 50% of the fatty acids in the face wash and those fatty acids help get rid of acne on your face. It fights bacteria, viruses, and fungi. The personal safety is that lauric acid causes serious eye damage and its very toxic. The environmental issue is that lauric acid is very harmful because it kills pathogens and its toxic to aquatic life.
Triethanolamine:
Triethanolamine is a amine which is a organic compound that contains nitrogen. This chemical is the most common in soap or face washes. This chemical has a strong base. It is used as a buffer agent masking the fragrance in the face wash. The personal safety that triethanolamine has its proclaimed to be very safe for personal products. Improvement
This company could improve their product by lessening the amount of chemicals that are a danger to the environment that we live in. Yes it may be true that that the chemicals used in these products are very strong in helping facial awareness and the cleaning process of it. A chemical that could be changed is the lauric acid because it can cause serious eye damage like blindness. It is also very toxic when being exposed too. It could be replaced with a less toxic chemical that works very well for a person’s face and the fragrance of a soap. Proving why the neutrogena maybe the better face wash for the simple fact that it contains less toxins and it clears a person’s face up faster.
