Does 24hr Tamer Extra Mega Hold edge control control your edges better than other oppositions?

For the past few years me and my partner have been consistently using the 24 hour edge control to hold down our edges. Suddenly, one day while going to the neighborhood hair store we realized how there were different types of edge controls with the same functions... that are owned by the same company. We were confused about why their were so many types of edge controls, that were different prices that were all labeled as the same thing. To prove our claim correct, we have conducted an experiment to prove that there is only one specific 24 hour edge tamer that holds down your edges the best.
Chemistry and Safety Concerns
To begin with, there are many chemicals in edge control in this certain edge control 24 Edge Tamer. One chemical is Glycerin, glycerin is found in many lipids which are known as glycerides. It is a sweet tasting, non toxic, viscous fluid and odorless clear liquid. Humectants like glycerin draw in moisture from the air to the hair giving the hair some moisture. There are no safety concerns because it's not a danger to the environment or humans.
Next, the chemical that is also used in 24 hour edge control that holds the hair down for a long period is Petroleum. Petroleum is a liquid mixture of hydrocarbons that is present in certain rock strata and can be extracted and refined to produce anything that needs oil or a hold.
There are no safety concerns in this product, but of course you wouldn’t eat it, use it internally or put it in your eyes.
Another chemical substance that is also used in 24 hour edge control is Propylene Glycol. Propylene Glycol plays a big role in the fragrance part of the edge control. Propylene Glycol is a synthetic organic compound with the chemical formula C₃H₈O₂. It is a viscous, colorless liquid which is
nearly odorless but possesses a faintly sweet taste. There are also no safety concerns in this chemical substance as well.

Experiment And Results
For our experiment, we decided to compare two different types of edge controls that are labeled as “24 hour edge tamer” (most popular) and “Perfect Edges Argan Oil” (an cheaper product). During this experiment we will test to see which edge holds our edges down the best and dried the fastest.
Procedure
- First, we will straighten the edges with a pair of bumpers.
- Next, we will apply edge control #1 (24 hour edge) on the right side of the head.
- Then, we will apply edge control #2 (Argan Oil) on the left side.
- After applying each edge control, then puts her scarf on.
- Next, leave the scarf on for 5-15 minutes.
- Lastly, remove the scarf to see your results. Results

Also, it acts fast when you apply the product. Compared to Perfect Edges Argan Oil, there is a 10 minute or even longer distance between the two.In conclusion, my partner and I are pleased with the results that came out. Our hypothesis was proven correct, but we don’t have any suggestions of improving the product. But the company can cut down on the variety of edge control provided. There are too many options from that company of edge control and they all do the same thing.
