I have always subconsciously bought the mac pro long wear foundation because who doesn't want to look flawless forever. The key to a good long lasting foundation is if it remains matte (without a shine) in any circumstance wheater is it being in a hot environment or just wearing your foundation from a.m to p.m. Before trying this experiment, I have owned both the long-wear and regular mac studio fixed fluid foundation but I would never go over a certain hours with the regular foundation because I thought that it wound up becoming shiny and sticky, due to it simply not having long-wear in the name. So throughout the project, I made sure that I kept each foundation on for the same amount of hours to see if longwear really makes a difference over regular foundation.

Observations/ Remarks
Mac Pro longwear has a slightly Mac Studio Fixed Fluid has a slightly watery
thick consistency, during the application consistency, resulting it to be a little it more
I found that it stuck to my face as I was applying runny and easier to move around during the 13
it and as I finished my makeup hours after the initial application.
it was already a matte and natural skin looking. The foundation lasted the whole 13 hours but
As the hours progressed it stayed in place with little it had become very shiny and dewy by the hour
to no movement when touched. In the pictures above 9. I found myself having to bloat on a napkin
I literally had my makeup on for over 13 hours to stop it from looking as shiny. The founda-
to see if it would make a difference and it did not tion did not slip but if I would have wiped
All and All when they say pro longwear they mean my face with a dry wash cloth if would have longwear. The foundation did not move and maintained easily came off.
the same durable consistency for all 16 hours.
Proposed Improvements:
I do not have any proposed improvements as I tested the durability between longwear and regular foundation. The only thing that I would like to add is that long-lasting foundation is a huge difference between normal foundation.
