Why?
I've been using Noxzema for as long as I could remember. I have really dry skin and I always wear make up from time to time. Noxzema gave my skin a cooling, refreshing and smooth feeling after I would use it. But it didn't hydrate my skin well enough. Prior to starting this project I wanted to make my own face mask and see how well my skin improves and to see if I could make something that could leave my face hydrated for hours. So when presented with this project I couldn't resist. 


this was my first time using both products Noxzema and my partners homemade face mask. i enjoyed trying both of them i know that they were both good for my face because after i used the products my face didn't break out and they both left my face  very hydrated but sense Noxzema is a very good products and millions of people users it and when we tested our faces with the hydration tester Noxzema as the product that left my face the most hydrated so i definitely  recommend it for you.





 




Ingredients/Purpose

Noxzema:
-WATER DISSOLVES SUBSTANCES OR INGREDIENTS
PURPOSE - SOLVENT
-STEARIC ACID AN INGREDIENT WHICH HELPS TO CLEAN OR REMOVE DIRT, OIL AND WHICH CAN  CREATE A FOAM WHEN ADDED WITH WATER
PURPOSE-EMULSIFIER
LINUM USITATISSIMUM (LINSEED) SEED OIL INGREDIENTS FROM HERBS, ROOTS, FLOWERS, FRUITS, LEAVES AND SEEDS
PURPOSE- INGREDIENT DESCRIPTIONS HAVE BEEN PROVIDED BY NOXZEMA
GLYCINE SOJA (SOYBEAN) OIL HELPS TO MAKE YOUR SKIN FEEL SOFT AND SUPPLE
PURPOSE-SKIN CONDITIONING AGENT
EUCALYPTUS  GLOBULUS LEAF OIL INGREDIENTS FROM HERBS, ROOTS, FLOWERS, FRUITS, LEAVES AND SEEDS
PURPOSE- INGREDIENT DESCRIPTIONS HAVE BEEN PROVIDED BY NOXZEMA

Homemade:
Water: Solvent 
Oatmeal: Removes dirt, acts as anti inflammatory and anti oxidant.Helps with acne and increase moisture due to high levels of fat found in it.
Lemon: Citric acid is used to get rid of dark spots on skin
Vitamin E Oil(organic): Used to get rid of scars and acts as an anti aging agent
Coconut Oil(organic): Is used to hydrate dry skin and fights acne
Aloe Vera Plant: Acts as a cooling relief. Helps with eczema flare up and skin irritation.




Steps
  1. 1. Wipe face clean with alcohol
  2. 2. Then wet face with warm water
  3. 3. Apply face mask
  4. 4. Let face mask sit for 15 minutes
  5. 5. Rinse face clean with cool water
  6. 6. Let face air dry for five minutes
  7. 7. Record the data





Data

The Noxzema showed more moisture

Noxzema: Kayla has 55% moisture after using. And India showed 44% moisture after using. 
Homemade: Kayla has 39% moisture after using. and India showed 32% moisture after using.

Maybelline Fit me! Foundation vs. NYX Matte Foundation

Starting out with this project I didn't really know what to do. I was going between hair products or skin care products. Ultimately, I decided to do an experiment about foundations because my mother and I use two different foundations and come out with different outcomes.
