which gel holds for the longest period of time ?

if your a female you know the struggle of wanting your curls to remain defined or wanting your ponytail,bun, and or puff to remain slick. You've walked around the store aisle trying to look for whats the perfect gel and have struggle to the point of almost having a break down. Then again that could also just be me. Anyways i conducted a experiment to see which gel would hold my curls for the longest amount of time but before i talk about the results or the experiment lets get into the ingredients in these two gels.
How does gel work:
When gel is applied to wet hair, the PVP or similar ingredient absorbs water quickly. When the gel dries completely, it forms a fixed connection between hair strands.

the first one is the gel i normally use which is Eco style black seed+Shea butter+black castor oil+flax seed. although based off of whats its called you can infer the some of the ingredients in it their is actually more.

carbomer -(C3H4O2)n
triethanolmine-C6H15NO3
Sodium hydroximethylglycinate
The other gel which is less known i got from family dollar. The only claim it has is that it holds and its alchol free. The chemicals it contains are the same as the ones above but it also has:
Acrylic acid
Hydantoin-methylchloroisothiazolinone-Methylisothiazolinone
Procedure
1.start off with freshly washed hair
2.split hair into two sections
3. Brush off brand gel on left side thoughly with brush
4. Brush well known eco styler gel on the right side though out with brush
5. Let nature take its course
In the begginning eco styler looked better because it was providing moisture to the hair rather than the other one which didnt have any oils or mostirizing products. But the next day i started to see that in terms of hold super wet was doing better. My prediction of why it was doing better is because it has alot less going on in its ingrediants so it only has to focus on holding.

The results were that super wet held the curls better. After three days the eco styler side was puffy and u couldnt really see the curls but on the other side there was some type of curl still there.
